The normal temperature is defined according to the current technical regulations by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Climatological standard normals are defined as averages of climatological data computed for successive 30-year periods and normally recalculated every ten years.
As of Janurary 2021, the new reference period is from 1 January 1991 to 31 December 2020. The previous baseline was 1 January 1961 to 31 december 1990 which is kept in this table for long-term reference.
We compute temperature averages starting from 2021 used for comparing with the reference periods.
